History

James Ratford Bridge was established over 60 years ago at Ratford Bridge, by Mr James, and now counts two of his grandsons among its staff members. John James is the current managing director and remains the company's chief designer.

The company caters for self-builders, architects, contractors, builders and DIY enthusiasts, offering the same high quality of service and support to all of its customers.

Originally set up to service the Pembrokeshire agricultural community, nowadays the company is primarily concerned with home and business owners, working both for individuals, architects, developers, builders and public sector customers.

Design and Manufacturing

No other company in its class possesses the mix of traditional skills and design technologies that go into James Ratford Bridge products and projects. CNC (computer controlled) machinery is complemented with highly skilled hand finishing and assembly whilst everything from the choice and purchase of the most appropriate woods to the high-class staining and painting shop is closely managed and quality checked by true craftsmen.
